The Story Behind Bird Bones

Behind every business, there’s a creator. Behind every creator there’s a process, and with every process, there comes a story. Here is the story of how Bird Bones came to be.

Creativity runs through my blood, and my bones. As a child, I loved to climb anything to get to new heights, or perform flips and tumbling to push my body in new ways. Doing all of these things caused me to receive the nickname of Bird Bones from my mother. To her, my love of being weightless and explorative looked like my bones were hollow, like a bird.

To this day, I still embody being weightless and explorative, not only physically, but mentally. I still love to climb and run and jump in any way I can, through parkour or rock climbing, but I love to see the world through a new lens. I crave a new perspective, and use my camera to create that. I want to show the beauty of a landscape, or a car, or a person in ways that the every day human eye doesn’t always pick up.

The world is a beautiful and endless park to me, filled with crevasses and mountains and fields of opportunity. It’s overflowing with an extraordinary humanity and what generations of their endless minds have created; structures, vehicles, artwork, destruction. My goal is to personify the depth that each photo holds, and help you convey your story, with no words.
